About the Host

Vernon Bagley has more than 35 years experience in a wide variety of businesses in both the public and private sectors. His activities have ranged from sales and marketing positions to the development and managing the day-to-day operations of his own companies. He is the founder of Military Families Foundation, Inc., the parent organization of Project We Remember. He is also the founder and a member of the board of Military Family LifeStyle Charitable Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to funding of college grants for the children of service men and women who have lost their lives during the fight against terrorism.

Mr. Bagley was the founder and President of Intervest Partners, Inc. a private real estate investment and consulting company and he served as Chairman and CEO of Links Style International Publishing, Inc. In addition to his duties with Links Style, Mr. Bagley was a co-founder and served as SVP Media and Customer Relations for Primaris Airlines, Inc. (Las Vegas, Nev.), a charter services company operating Boeing 757 aircraft where he continues to serve as a special consultant to the Chairman/CEO. Mr. Bagley also was co-founder and Executive Vice President of Progeny Services, Inc. a post-incubation management/media consulting company where his principal responsibilities were strategic oversight, financial and outside media company liaison and investment. Prior to his co-founding of Progeny Services, Mr. Bagley served as President of Financial Services Network, which began in early 1987 and provided services to companies in the areas of: on-site evaluation of operations, business and financial analysis, corporate recapitalization, preparation of business plans, and placement of senior debt, subordinated debt and/or equity.
 
In 1985 and 1986, Mr. Bagley was President and CEO of Regent Enterprises, Inc., where he was responsible for the operation of three wholly-owned subsidiaries; Dimension Tours, Inc., Dimensions In Travel, Inc., and Regent World Travel Card, Inc. He directed and controlled marketing and advertising, contract negotiations with airlines, hoteliers and ground operations companies. In addition, during this time Mr. Bagley participated in the development of a nationally-syndicated radio show on travel, “The Travel Holiday Magazine Show, The Radio Show That Roams The Globe,” which was broadcast on more than 200 radio stations nationwide. In 1980, Mr. Bagley was a co-founder and Vice President of Sales/Marketing for Air One Airlines, the nation’s first “All First Class” airline operating Boeing 727s into major markets across the U.S.
 
A distinguished war veteran, in 1968 Mr. Bagley was the recipient of two Bronze Star medals, with “V” devise for Valor, two Purple Heart medals, and the Vietnamese Gallantry Cross with Gold Star, plus various other awards. After completing his tour of duty in Vietnam, he was selected as one of seven officers and senior non-commissioned officers assigned to the Department of the Army’s National Speakers Program, where he provided information on the Army’s role in the Vietnam conflict to civic organizations, schools and spoke on television and radio station talk shows in California.
 
Mr. Bagley attended Northeast Missouri State University, where he studied for his degree in Business Administration before leaving in his last semester to join the United States Army.
